Process Description:
Using the Summit Client Utility tools for automating the process of rebooting the hosted server.
Requirements to Complete this Process:
- Access to the server that you need to reboot
- Admin access to the server
Steps and Screenshots:
If you are the Server Admin of your Server, You should be able to perform reboots of your Server using the Summit Client Utility on your Server.
- Launch the Summit Client Utility from your Desktop or Start Menu (admin permissions required)

Choose the Server Tasks tab.

Choose the option Server Restart.

You can then choose Restart Immediately or Reboot Later to schedule the reboot later in an amount of minutes and also at the bottom enter a message to send to active users prior to the reboot.

Wait approximately 5 minutes after the scheduled time for the reboot to complete and then log back into the Server by clicking the connect button once you are logged in through TruGrid. (You should not need to close TruGrid and reopen for this process.)
