Disable Startup Programs like Teams for users
Requirements to Complete this Process:
- Access to the customer server
- Admin rights
Steps and Screenshots:
For all users:
- On the server open File Explorer (Fold icon on the Task Bar)
- Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp
- Add or Remove the icons for the programs you would like to start automatically for all users when they log into the server
For a specific user:
- On the server open File Explorer (Folder icon on the Task Bar)
- Navigate to the user's Startup Folder
Examples:
C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup or S:\Users\*username*\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
3. Add or Remove the icons for the programs you would like to start automatically for this user when they log into the server
