QuickBooks Payroll update error PS032

Issue Description:   

       When downloading the payroll updates, it errors out.

Requirements to Complete this Process:

  • Access to the server. 
  • Access to the QuickBooks file.  

Steps and Screenshots:

  1. Make sure QuickBooks is on the latest release. 
  2. Go to C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks 2022\Components and find the Payroll folder then rename it to .old.
  3. Have the user log in to the QB file again, then have them download the payroll updates (Employees menu> Get Payroll Updates) and it should generate a new Payroll folder.

  4. Once completed you will see the following payroll update message:
