Process Description:
When customers receive the below error message, then the steps in this article will resolve the error.
Requirements to Complete Process:

Access to the server with -pa creds.
Steps and Screenshots:
1. Log into the server - Navigate to folder C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
- Click the View tab then check off the box to include File name extensions
- Locate the hosts file
- Copy hosts file to the Desktop
- Click Start and type Notepad
- Right-click on Notepad and select Run as Administrator
- Open the file through Notepad

Copy and paste the following at the bottom of the file:
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 Acroipm.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 Acroipm.adobe.com.edgesuite.net
127.0.0.1 *.dscd.akamai.net
Example: - Save the file
- Reopen the saved file and choose Save As
- Change the file type to All Files and remove the “.txt” from the name
- You should have 2 hosts files on the desktop. The one with no lines on the icon labeled hosts (without .txt extension) is the good one.
- Rename the hosts file at C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc to hosts2
- Right-click the new hosts file
- Click Copy then Paste to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
- Right-click Adobe Reader and select Properties
- Go to the Compatibility tab
- Check the box to Run in compatibility mode for windows XP service pack 2
- Select OK
- Run Adobe Reader as admin
- Open with Protected Mode disabled
- Accept EULA
- Close application
- Right-click Adobe Reader and select Properties
- Go to the Compatibility tab
- Uncheck the box to Run in compatibility mode
- Select OK
