The following information is from UltraTax Support. They have implemented an authenticator feature to the UltraTax application which might require additional steps to be taken, outlined below.
- You will need to run the BrowserHandler.Installer.Package.msi file.
- You will find the installer by navigating to C:\WINCSI\Tools\Desktop\Desktop Authenticator. If you don’t find it there it might also be found the in C:\WINCSI\Desktop or C:\WINCSI\UT22\Desktop\Desktop Authenticator.
- Once you run this installer try logging into the 2022 UltraTax Program.
- If these steps do not work, installing the UltraTax 2023 program also sometimes resolves this issue as well.
