- Open ACT!
- Navigate to Tools>Synchronize Database>Synchronization Panel
- To change connection information, click on Manage Connection Information
- Under Connection Type change it to Internet (outside a firewall)
- Modify the part URL field and change it to https://web2.actv24.com/ActInternetSync
- Once modified it should look like

Click Finish

Change the Main Database Location by going to “Manage Main Database Location”

Input the Machine Name provided in your post-update email (Ex. ActV24BSvr1)

Click Finish and then Close

Sync the database: Tools>Synchronize Database>Synchronize Now
